ADSp – The German freight forwarders standard terms and conditions 2016

The German Freight Forwarders’ Standard Terms and Conditions 2016 (Allgemeine  Deutsche Spediteurbedingungen  2016 – ADSp 2016) are recommended for use by  the Federal Association of German Freight  Forwarders and Logistics Operators (Deutscher Speditions- und Logistikverband e. V. – DSLV), as of 1 January 2016. The ADSp 2016 were originally published after 90 years, solely by the DSLV after the transport associations withdrawal from the community in September 2015. The 2003 version of the ADSp were developed by the DSLV together with the confederation of German industry (BDI), The federation of German wholesale and foreign trade (BGA), The German chamber of commerce and industry (DIHK) und The German retail federation (HDE). Carriers are regularly checked in accordance with these practices and the implementation of the body of conditions. The ADSp’s market acceptance is very high. Over 90 percent of the German transport companies, work on the basis of these terms and conditions, that are specially tailored for the logistics sector. All companies involved, benefit from complying with these terms and conditions, even when they work together with a variety of different carriers.
